Dance Intensive
Hey all come check out the Dance Intensive next week looking at a few new techniques including: * Contact Improvisation: is a dance technique where points of physical contact provide the starting point for exploration through movement. CI is one of the best-known and most characteristic forms of post modern dance * Release Technique * West African Folk * Strength and Flexibility * and Modern Technique Cost $1500 per week or $500 per class. Classes are from 6 - 8 p.m. Dance Intensive Schedule Monday August 8 to Thursday August 18, 2011 Mon. Aug 8 - Release Technique (Michelle Patterson) Tue. Aug 9 - Modern (Sophia McKain) Wed. The senior department of Praise Academy of Dance presents (HIS)tory. A dance production portraying Love, Hope, Restoration & Healing. This production will be held May 22 at 7:30 p.m. and May 23 at 5:30p.m. at the Little Theatre. Tickets cost $1000 and is available at Source of Light on Hagley Park Road, or Call 757-3326.
Reggae Vibez 2010
Praise Academy of dance presents yet another staging of Reggae Vibes. Praise Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica, among other groups will be ministering through dancing of Gospel reggae music. It promises to be an exciting and fulfilling night of worship. See you there
